The summer programming prominently features three key events: the Moonlight Market, 805 After Five, and Downtown Food Truck Rallies. Each event promises a unique blend of local culture, art, food, and entertainment.

Moonlight Market Details

The Moonlight Market will be held on the second Friday of each month from May to October, running from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the Courthouse Square. This event replaces the previous Art Walks and will include participation from over 40 local artisans, live music performances, and a DJ. Redstone Federal Credit Union will sponsor this vibrant market, reinforcing local community ties.

805 After Five Schedule

Another highlight, 805 After Five, will occur on the third Thursday of each month from May to October from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Campus 805’s Butler Green Park. The inaugural event on May 15 will feature Alabama’s Lamont Landers as the opening act. Subsequent performances will showcase a variety of artists, including The Dirty Dozen Brass Band on June 19 and The Stolen Faces on October 16, among others. Attendees will have access to local artisan vendors, food trucks, craft beverages from Straight to Ale and Yellowhammer Brewing, as well as interactive activities.

Food Truck Rallies Information

The Downtown Food Truck Rallies are scheduled for every third Friday from May to October from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. by Big Spring Park. Each event will focus on a new theme, offering food truck patrons the chance to vote for their favorite participating vendor. Sponsored by Meta and GFiber, these rallies will also feature pop-up experiences related to the monthly themes, encouraging community interaction and creativity.

Event Logistics and Community Support

To facilitate ease of access, the city of Huntsville will provide parking maps, free shuttles, and comprehensive information to help attendees navigate downtown during the events. Free onsite parking at the 805 After Five event will also be available, with guests encouraged to utilize carpooling, biking, or rideshare services.

Community Engagement and Economic Support
